Rangbaaz Pictures is a dynamic new production house that brings together the diverse experience of its core team across formats and media. Be it 10 seconds or multiple seasons, surround sound or mute; if there is a working screen involved, we’ve got just the right team for it. We are big on collaboration and working with us is a riot. Don’t believe us? Just witness a Rangbaaz project once.

We have completed shooting our first fiction project in collaboration with Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, starring Nitanshi Goel (known for her standout performance in “Laapataa Ladies”).

With roots in advertising, Chirag has lent his expertise to renowned Indian brands like Zomato, Swiggy, Coca-Cola, Kerovit, amongst others. His venture into the realm of long-form content began with the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Series “Taj Mahal 1989”. Subsequently, he has served as the Supervising Producer on the Netflix Original Series “Choona” and Viacom18 Studio’s “Shanti Bhavan” and “Transition - Inside Out”. Presently, he is immersed in the shoot for an upcoming feature film by one of India’s leading directors.

Starting with producing for advertising, Ritika’s debut as producer in long-form content was marked by the Netflix Original Series “Choona”. She transitioned to the studio side of filmmaking at Viacom18 Studios where she has produced “Shanti Bhavan'' and “Transition - Inside Out,” formats of which remain refreshingly novel in the Indian content landscape. She has recently produced Rangbaaz’s first fiction project in collaboration with Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters. Driven by a deep appreciation for collaboration, Ritika is committed to harmonising content with the right partners, ensuring a synergy that does justice to each story she undertakes.

Sayantan Mukherjee is widely recognised as the creator of “Ray,” a compelling four-part anthology of some of Satyajit Ray’s finest works, currently streaming on Netflix. He has recently written and directed a film in collaboration with Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, starring Nitanshi Goel. His upcoming works include “Shanti Bhavan,” a mockumentary following a bunch of odd-balls amidst the ghats of Banaras. He is also the showrunner of a docu-reality series, “Transition - Inside Out” which tells a poignant story of a trans-woman set against the glamorous world of fashion and pageantry. Both shows are produced by Viacom18 Studios and are in post-production. Previously, he served as the creative producer on Sriram Raghvan’s celebrated “Andhadhun”. Beyond the realm of filmmaking, Sayantan is a devoted parent to his two feline companions, Dope and Noor. Finding his meditative state with cooking, he draws parallels between great food and filmmaking, emphasising the importance of a masterful balance of ingredients for a truly exceptional outcome.

Kulish Kant Thakur hails from the tutelage of Anurag Kashyap whom he assisted for over 4 years on “Bombay Velvet”. This is where he was introduced to Vasan Bala and went on to work with him as Associate and 2nd unit director on his critically acclaimed “Mard ko Dard Nahi Hota'' which won the prestigious Grolsch Viewer’s Choice award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Kulish then directed “Cinema Marte Dam Tak” on Amazon Prime Video, a docu-series giving a sneak peek into the golden age of Bollywood pulp movies through the eyes of 4 unconventional directors. His upcoming directorial “Shanti Bhavan”, a mockumentary following a bunch of odd-balls amidst the ghats of Banaras is produced by Viacom18 Studios.

In advertising, Kulish extensively assisted Vasan Bala at Absolute Productions and has directed films for Tata Hexa, HP and GTPL with Kartik Aaryan and Rashmika Mandanna, amongst others.
